2030 Vision – Future Projects of Precious Children Foundation

Introduction

As Precious Children Foundation (PCF) reflects on its impactful journey, it’s setting an ambitious goal for the year 2030. This vision includes expanding current projects, launching new initiatives, and supporting thousands more individuals affected by incarceration. Here’s a closer look at PCF’s 2030 vision.

Enrich Program Expansion

By 2030, PCF aims to support 3,000 children of incarcerated parents through the Enrich Program. This program provides academic support, psychological counseling, and holistic care to children who face stigma, emotional challenges, and financial hardship due to a parent’s imprisonment.

Mental Health Programs Across Maharashtra and Beyond

PCF plans to establish mental health support in prisons across Maharashtra and eventually in other states. These programs, built on PCF’s established frameworks, will include counseling, conflict resolution training, and skills development.

Legal Aid for Needy Prisoners

Recognizing the lack of legal resources for marginalized prisoners, PCF intends to provide legal aid for those unable to afford it. The program will help inmates understand their rights, navigate legal processes, and advocate for fair treatment.

Women Empowerment Initiatives

PCF aims to empower women affected by incarceration, particularly those who have lost a family member to the prison system. By providing vocational training and sustainable livelihood opportunities, the foundation hopes to foster financial independence and resilience.

Supportive Counseling Training for Volunteers

To sustain these programs, PCF will train a dedicated team of volunteers. This initiative focuses on building a knowledgeable, compassionate volunteer base equipped to address the emotional and psychological needs of families affected by incarceration.
